I began a new world not long before beginning this site! Exploring the area a bit, I found that I was on a rocky island, very close to a mainland which held a mixed oak and birch forest. This world does not have any generating structures in it, as I find villages seem too common in modern versions of Minecraft, and it really feels like cheating having such abundant resources nearly guaranteed so soon.

Part of the rocky island had a "cave" which seemed really more like a crater. The picture I've gotten here you can see the wandering trader photobombing in the background.

This rocky crater had a few small caves in it, which I've used as temperary shelter while I work on my plans for the island. So currently, I'm playing caveman simulator.

In the first image, you can see some birchwood blanks laying around as I plan out a castle which will eventually take up the island. My goal is to plot out where the walls of the cave will be, dig out what I don't need, and use that to make stone bricks to build the rest of the castle on top of walls left over from the excavation. From here, I'll build up a town, and eventually, taking up the process of populating the town with villagers, rescued from being naturally occuring zombie villagers.
