This is my Microsoft Surface which I usually just refer to as "little silver." This is my daily driver. Most of my work gets done on this computer because it's so convenient and portable, even compared to a lot of laptops. Really it's half way between being a laptop and a tablet. This was my daily driver running Windows 10 for the longest time, even as I was going to MATC.

At some point during the COVID19 pandemic, the surface recieved a bad update from Microsoft which made it unusable. I didn't have a good way of recovering it, and Microsoft wasn't of much help, but I kept the device around in the hopes that it would be useful again.

In 2024, thanks to Al's Web Tech it was able to be recovered! I had the option to put it back to Windows, or move it over to Linux. By this point (and to this day) I had gained quite a bit of distrust in Microsoft, so I decided for it to have Ubuntu, and it's been a great daily driver ever since!

Little Silver isn't really powerful enough to do much else. I play Minecraft on him sometimes, but he's mostly a coding machine.
